The small and medium publishers’ national fair Più libri più liberi proposes the 13th edition of the Fellowship Program on December 6th and 7th 2017 in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency and Regione Lazio – Lazio Innova. The program is created for foreign operators interested in exploring new relations and market opportunities in Italy.
The project aims at suggesting a wide picture of the best small and medium independent publishers attending the exhibition to foreign publishers looking for Italian authors and books. This is an important premise that will allow the fair, promoted by the Italian Publishers Association, to have an increasingly international profile.
The Fellowship Program is organized with the support of the Aldus project, the European Book Fairs’ network, primary aimed at fostering transnational mobility of European literary works and book professionals.
Where and when
On Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th December 2017 foreign publishers, editors, foreign rights people and literary agents will meet the fair’s exhibitors in the Rights Room set up in the exhibition hall. Meetings between foreign and Italian operators will be held according to a personal agenda arranged by the organization in Autumn.
Flight ticket in economy to travel to Rome; 3 nights hotel accommodation; shuttle bus between the hotel and fair building and vice versa; light lunch during the b2b meetings; personal agenda (b2b meetings and seminars) arranged by the organizers.
Who can apply and how
Foreign publishers and literary agents interested in exploring new opportunities to make contacts and negotiate with Italian publishers, as they look for Italian writers and books that could be translated and published outside Italy.
